In a world where the Ithiyans live in peace, there is a fence that divides them. On the other side, it’s a group of people called the Outcasts, made for people who have committed crimes. Usually, when you get Outcast, you never come back. Reo and his friends have lived peacefully in Ithiya their entire lives.
After getting his heart broken, Reo’s defense mechanism was to stop feeling altogether. He feels like all the life has been sucked from him. One month after Reo gets dumped by Nagi, he decides to sneak out of his house one day. He finds himself at the fence, and, on impulse, climbs over and into the Outcasts’ land. When he thinks all hope is lost for him and his broken heart, he meets Shidou, an Outcast too bold for his own good, his whole ‘emotionless’ thing goes out the window. As Reo starts living again, the barrier and prejudices between the Outcasts and Ithiyans grow stronger. Reo must weigh the differences between his feelings for an Outcast boy that a relationship with could ruin his reputation, or Nagi, the boy that broke his heart.
