Solar Eclipse

The life of a hunter was never easy — and even though the “emperor” has been leading it for well over a decade, unexpected encounters are bound to happen.

Silvery moonlight shone through the trees’ fronds, casting its gentle glow upon the land below, its reflected light piercing through the night’s overwhelming darkness.
It was quiet, whereas only the silent chirping of the nightingale, owls and other inconspicuous noises were the sole company for that of a lone traveller, whose steps blended in with his surroundings, far too thorough to be of someone unaware of the dangers lurking within the shadows.
Golden locks were messily put into a ponytail, as it swayed left and right, according to his steady movements.

In his hands resided an unusual gun, as if crafted for it to kill a specific animal, hard metal concealing silver bullets, while wooden stakes were safely attached to his belt. His human scent was skillfully covered by all sorts of things: mud, and leaves, which also assisted him in concealing the oppressive smell of garlic, to avoid scaring off his “prey.”
